Terms of Service

Therulesofthetable.

Written to be read, not skimmed past. These are the few things we need from you to keep DiceDelve safe and pleasant for everyone.

Last updated: July 10, 2026.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

DiceDelve (the “App”) is a mobile application that helps tabletop players find each other and organize real-life gaming sessions. It is operated by Zhan Zybin, an individual software developer based in the Czech Republic (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Who may use DiceDelve

You must be at least 18 years old — DiceDelve arranges real-world meetings between users, and we restrict it to adults. You may hold only one account, registered with accurate information, and you may not use the App if we have previously banned you. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

3. What DiceDelve does — and does not do

The App lets you publish meetup intents (a game, a time window, and a meeting spot you choose), discover other players' intents on a map, chat, and share posts in a community feed.

Important — real-world meetups are at your own risk. DiceDelve only provides the tools for users to find each other. We do not organize, host, supervise, or attend meetups; we do not verify users' identities and do not run background checks; and we are not a party to any meetup or to anything users agree between themselves. You alone decide whether, where, and with whom to meet, and you do so at your own risk. Exercise the same judgment you would when meeting anyone from the internet: prefer public places such as game cafés and stores, tell someone where you are going, and trust your instincts.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you post — profile details, photos, intents, messages, and feed posts (“your content”). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display your content solely to operate and provide the App (for example, showing your intent on the map or your post in others' feeds). The license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for limited retention described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for your content: only post what you have the right to post.

5. Community rules

When using the App you must not:

  • harass, threaten, bully, or intimidate anyone;
  • post hate speech, sexually explicit content, or content that is violent, discriminatory, or otherwise abusive;
  • spam, scam, defraud, or mislead other users, or impersonate any person;
  • use the App for unauthorized commercial promotion;
  • share another person's private information without their consent;
  • use the App for any unlawful purpose, or attempt to access data or accounts that are not yours;
  • scrape, harvest, or systematically collect data from the App, or interfere with its operation;
  • circumvent a ban or block, including by creating a new account.

6. Moderation, reporting, and bans

You can report users, meetup intents, and individual messages in the App, and block users so they cannot interact with you. Meetup hosts may remove (kick) or ban users from their own meetup chats; a host ban applies to all of that host's meetups. We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, and we may take measures to prevent banned users from returning. Where reasonable, we will tell you what rule was violated.

7. Third-party services

The App relies on third-party services — including Supabase (hosting), Google Firebase (notifications, diagnostics), Mapbox (maps), and Apple / Google sign-in. Their availability is outside our control, and map data is provided “as is” by Mapbox and its data sources.

8. Intellectual property

The App, its design, artwork, and branding are our property or used under license, and are protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you any right to use the DiceDelve name, artwork, or branding outside the App. Third-party game names (D&D, Pathfinder, 40k, Magic, and others) are trademarks of their respective owners; we reference them to help players find each other, not to claim any affiliation. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely without obligation to you.

9. Ending your use of the App

You may stop using the App at any time and delete your account in the App (Menu → Account & Privacy → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms, or if we discontinue the service — in which case we will give reasonable advance notice in the App.

10. Disclaimers

The App is provided free of charge and “as is”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. In particular, we make no promises about the conduct, identity, or reliability of any user you meet through the App.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are liable only for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence on our part. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for damage arising from interactions or meetings between users, from user content, or from temporary unavailability of the App.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages; in those jurisdictions, the exclusions and limitations in Sections 10 and 11 apply only to the extent permitted there. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law — including your mandatory rights as a consumer in your country or state of residence.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the App evolves. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version. For material changes we will notify you in the App before they take effect; continuing to use the App after that constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the App and delete your account.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. This choice of law does not deprive you of protections you are entitled to under the mandatory laws of the place where you live: if you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you keep the consumer protections of your country of residence and may bring disputes before its courts; if you reside in the United States, you keep any non-waivable rights under the laws of your state. The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
